Accessibility Statement

Government College Bassa (Gohar), District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, is committed to making its website accessible and usable for all visitors, including persons with disabilities, older users, and people using assistive technologies.

We aim to improve the accessibility of this website in accordance with the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Accessibility Features

The website provides certain accessibility-related controls to help visitors access its content. These include the following features where available:

• A "Skip to Main Content" link to help users bypass repeated navigation.
• Text-size controls to assist users who need larger or smaller text.
• A screen-reader access option.
• Website navigation and information about college services, notices, and downloads.

We recognise that accessibility requires ongoing review. We are working to improve keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, text and background contrast, alternative text for informative images, form labels, and the accessibility of documents published on this website.

Conformance Status

We are working towards improving the website's conformance with GIGW 3.0 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA. A complete conformance status has not been declared here because all pages, documents, and interactive features must be evaluated before such a claim can be made.

Known Accessibility Limitations

Some older documents, downloadable files, embedded content, or third-party services may not yet be fully accessible. We aim to identify accessibility barriers and address them as improvements are made.

If you are unable to access a document or information on this website, please contact the college for assistance or an alternative means of accessing the information.

Feedback and Assistance

We welcome feedback about the accessibility and usability of this website. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us which page you were visiting and describe the problem. Where possible, include the browser or assistive technology you were using so that we can investigate the issue.

We will review accessibility feedback and consider appropriate improvements to make the website easier for everyone to use.
