Career and Guidance Cell of Govt. College, Bassa (Gohar) organized a career and guidance lecture by Bhupesh, a language instructor, under the guidance of Principal, Prof. Surina Sharma. Students of B.Sc. 3rd year participated in the lecture at Lecture Hall – 1 of Science block and B.A. students at Multipurpose Hall of ARTS Block.

Flag hoisting and various competitions were organized under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Chief Guest, College Principal Prof. Surina Sharma, hoisted and saluted the Tiranga and took the parade salute by NCC cadets. Competitions such as Declamation, Patriotic Poem Recitation, Patriotic Song, and Quiz were also held.

A grand rally under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was flagged off by Principal Prof. Surina Sharma. Participants carried the tricolor with zeal, raising slogans and singing patriotic songs. The rally passed through Bassa Chowk, reached the SDM office, and concluded at the college campus. Students, teachers, and staff members from various clubs actively participated.

Rupali Bharti, an NCC Cadet and 3rd-year student, was awarded a medal by the Defence State Defence Minister at Lal Quila, New Delhi, during the Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat Campaign.
